Belmont Manor Historic Park Summer Wedding

Lindsey + Chris

Having previously photographed Chris and Lindsey’s engagement session in 2022, their wedding day felt like a continuation of that night. I walked into the historic Belmont Manor outside of Baltimore, Maryland and let me tell you, it was nothing short of amazing. Their wedding day visually was a feast; emotionally, it was filling and physically, it was energizing.

First, let’s talk about Belmont Manor. The classic architecture, and the charming gardens—it's so Instagram-worthy and a beautiful spot in one historic venue. The long drive up to the manor sitting alone on a hill felt from the opening scene of a movie. The details for the day were immaculate; the bride’s dress, the groom’s blue suit, the florals, the boxed wine, they were all about looking good and feeling better.

Second, lets talk about their ceremony. I love the mixing of blues and greens for any wedding. I also really loved the ceremony space for the Belmont as it feels like it was carved out amongst the trees just for weddings. Being hidden among the trees gave us soft, beautiful and sun-kissed lighting and plenty of shade to keep us cool from the early June event. Lindsay and Chris were thriving in their moments together, their eyes locked so lovingly onto each other and the crowd fixated on them.

Lastly, the highlight of the evening was the reception and the party. The dance floor became a stage for all the moves—some smooth, some not-so-smooth, but all undeniably fun. I really wish friends and family could get together once a year like they do for a wedding. The last few hours of the night never seem long enough, especially when theres plenty of cake and fine spirits left to be had.

I hope you all love looking at these photographs as much as loved taking them.
