Photographing weddings in a big city are always a fun experience. Around each corner there is potentially a different vibe, design or scenery to use for photographs. Other photographers may tend to find a quiet or less busy place to photograph, but images created amidst the chaos shows the city as its authentic self. Walking up and down the city streets, we stopped to explore and to enjoy the occasion.
The venue itself was a jaw dropper. The complimentary colors of the candle-lit room and the lights of the city were brilliantly curated and designed for maximum “wow”. No two weddings are exactly alike. What makes weddings different aren’t just the people, but the feelings and emotions that are shared by all and there were plenty.
As wedding day to its end, i’m always reminded that weddings is not just an extravagant celebration, but a meeting point shared between two souls. It is the dedication to one another during the good times and the bad, the triumphs and the heartaches. Wedding day is but a short window of what a marriage is. Most days that follow are unlikely to be as celebrated as this one but this day certainly will not be the highlight of their marriage. Their married journey over time will be carved into time; and this day, forever chiseled in concrete through photography. Cheers!
