Intimate Wedding at Caboose Farm in Frederick, MD
Alycia + Brian
Peak fall foliage in the Maryland, Virginia and DC area is a gorgeous sight. In the city, these sights get lost behind the buildings and busy streets but venture an hour in any direction of Washington, DC and you will find yourself surrounded by serenity and seasonal bliss. Pair peak fall with peak wedding season and you get a beautifully unforgettable wedding scene. Alycia and Brian found themselves not only surrounded by fall’s blooming colors but by a close-knit circle of friends and family for their fall wedding. Intimate weddings became very popular during the pandemic of 2019. While things have returned to a more normal world, elopement and getaway weddings still happen all around us.
Caboose Farm has become one of my favorite wedding venues to photograph. For being a venue almost isolated in the mountains, the space and the staff are warm and welcoming. Its a wedding venue designed for couples who want their space and privacy but also want to fill that space with love. Its scenic views and remote location have the makings for a precision crafted intimate wedding. Its also a venue designed to cater to couples. Couples have two separate houses for their wedding prep as well as over 50 acres of land for portraits, exploring and most importantly, celebrating.
