Howard County Courthouse Wedding

Before their wedding celebration, Katriya and Fritz said their “i do’s” in a Howard County Courthouse wedding.

The couple had traveled around the world and could have picked anywhere for their “carpe deim” wedding but being back in Maryland to them was special. Maryland is where they called home and when they eventually had their bigger wedding, they wanted it to be back here. They seized the day and made it theirs. Tuesday weddings are unique in every state. Most weddings of course being on weekends. They seized the moment, making their ceremony intimately about them and their love.

No wedding day would be complete without photos to share. The Howard County Courthouse was newly renovated and designed to be sleek and sharp. Using the area around us and some creativity, we created portraits to capture the newlyweds in their moment.

Katriya and Fritz joyful, civil ceremony was small but was romantic and allowed them to focus on themselves and the moment. They call Maryland home but their careers took them away to California. Returning home to say their vows was always on their list of priorities and it was an honor to be the first call they made when they arrived. A wedding like this is held together by loving moments and feelings captured in photographs. Although family and friends weren’t there to see their marriage, they were able to live through the memeories captured.
