With the arrival of summer, we visited one of Virginia’s hottest locations for Rene and Rachelle’s engagement session. Alexandria,VA’s waterfront has a lot to offer for photography backdrops. Under a bridge, hides a park. Across the field sits a historic lighthouse. Down the street, the cobblestones line the downtown tourist district. Filled with bursts of color and a bold summer sky, it was a beautiful way to start the summer engagement season. Rene and Rachelle can be described as passionate especially when it comes to two things: each other and their alma maters.
I always love when couples incorporate something about them with their engagement session and they got bonus points for pulling off matching outfits. As the sun went down and the weather got cooler, their spicy, fashion-forward outfits reminded me of Miami summer nights. Nights filled with dancing, great cocktails and feeling as good as you look.
